What Happens Next
FIRST- Contact a Celebrant and discuss the type of Ceremony you would like and the availability on your chosen date and time
- Arrange a no obligation meeting with the Celebrant at a mutually convenient time and place.
- If Overseas or interstate download Notice of Intended Marriage Form ( NOIM) and follow instructions as discussed on phone or E-mail
THEN
- Have your first meeting with your chosen Celebrant to confirm the Wedding details.
- Pay the Booking Fee - this secures the booking Date and Time and is non-refundable
- Complete and sign the Ceremony Agreement
- bring documents as discussed e.g. Birth Certificates, Passport or Drivers Licence for Photo ID, decree Absolute if Divorced
- Complete, sign and lodge Notice of Intended Marriage form with the Celebrant
- Discuss details of the ceremony- including readings, music, special Rituals e.g candle ceremony, Rose ceremony, cultural input
- to help you choose your Ceremony the celebrant will be your guide with ideas and suggestions, you are not alone
- If your wedding is outdoors always have a plan B to move inside in case it is wet on the day
AT LEAST ONE MONTH PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING DAY
- Ensure that the Notice of Intended Marriage is completed and lodged with your Celebrant
3-4 WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING
- Provide a draft of your wedding ceremony by e-mail or Fax
- arrange a time for the meeting usually 1-2 weeks before the ceremony
- Confirm the names of the Witness's
1-2 WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING
- Rehearsal/ Final meeting at venue(if convenient), or another suitable venue
- Full settlement of Fees due at this time
- Sign a declaration stating the you know of no reason you should not be married to this person
- Confirm the wedding details - Time, Date, Venue address, parking arrangements
- Confirm table is available for the signing the documents
AFTER
-Celebrants welcome your feedback as Celebrants are required have ongoing Education
